The Ron Cosey Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing is named in memory of Ron Eugene Cosey. Ron was a graduate of Central State University and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He served on the Business Advisory Council for Central State University's College of Business and was a lifetime member of Central State University’s National Alumni Association. He received numerous awards throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Wedge Golf Club. Ron believed so much in the sport of golf that he initiated, orchestrated, and championed the College of Business Annual Golf Outing each year for 15 years. Proceeds from this event will benefit students in the College of Business, funding scholarships and activities for the coming academic year.
